How can you stop excessive underarm sweating without drugs or antiperspirants (which are bad for you)? This happens even it’s cold — it has nothing to do with sweating from being too hot.

I could sweat in a snow storm and I’m not overweight and I don’t drink anymore than the average person. I also get excessive sweating of my head at night. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and my pillow will be wet with sweat. I wonder what’s going on.
I know this sounds gross but I seem to over heat a lot and although I dont smell, its really embarassing. Is there any supplements I can take? Are there any ways to modify my diet so that I dont sweat as much? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You!
I’ve been excessively sweating for a long time now and I didn’t realize that there was a name for it until just recently. So, I was wondering if there are any recommended treatments for it. I’ve been trying a prescription deodorant, but it doesn’t seem to be working that well. So are there any other remedies for hyperhidrosis? I’m fine with any suggestions as long as it isn’t surgery, botox, or iontophoresis. And if not remedies, are there any recommendations for things to do? I had heard that drinking more water was good but is there anything else?
I have sweated alot HOWEVER during these last three workouts on the treadmill eliptical I have burst into buckets of sweat within the first 3 or 4 minutes of movement.
I have been working out regularly (3-5 times a week) and sweating regularly for the last 2 and 1/2 weeks. Does this huge increase in perspiration signify something new is actually going with my body? - Like that I may actually start losing weight or is nothing.
But
The past few days, my sweat has this strong sour smell to it - not a ‘gross’ dirty or urine smell, but like sour and strong. Usually I can’t smell my own perspiration but it’s so strong that I can and am wondering what it could be from.
My daughter has just been perscribed Hypercare for excessive underarm sweating and we understand that she is not to apply deodorants or antiperspirants at the same time as Hypercare but what about on the off days? Do you just use nothing on those days? Kind of scary for someone who knows they sweat a lot.
I have hypohidrosis, I sweat exessevily on my armpits for no reason, no physical movement, and at normal tempature. What is the best thing I can do, or use?
I sweat a lot, especially when I’m really nervous. Any tips on managing this? My palms are also very sweaty. It’s nothing serious, but general tips and advice would be helpful.
I am 19 years old and I suffer from hyperhidrosis. For those who do not know it, its excessive sweating from certain areas of the body. In my case, I sweat excessively from my scalp. When I walk to class I’m practically sweating. Does anyone else have this condition and how do you deal with it? I’m lucky enough to have some cute girls fan me while I wait outside. I’m guessing they like me or feel bad haha. But I don’t sweat like I just ran, it’s just enough to bother the crap out of me, out of the norm. Anyone have a way to ease it that has the same problem?
be to docters, to eliminate that with blood workup all good. Prblem is that I get profuse sweating, doe’s not matter if its hot or cold out just break out in sweats, whole body soaking wet, have to change clothes, some days more some days less usually always feel hot been going on for 3 years now, does anybody expereance this or have any idea as to what or why this is.
I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about how to stop excessive sweating? I don’t mean just underarms; I mean total body. I sweat like nobody’s business and try to stay under a fan as much as possible.
Any and all suggestions are welcome!
I am a woman and I really do perspire excessively in my armpits to the point where I plan my clothing to hide perspiration. It is embarassing! It diminished considerably when I was on acne medication (Acutane) for 6 months. I am tall and thin and measure 5ft 9" and weigh 130lb. Could it be hyperactive thyroid? It is worse on certain days of my cycle when there are big changes in hormones levels.
I’ve dealt with hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) since I was a teen, and I’m sick of it. I’ve already tried the perscription stregnth anti-persperants (and that includes that new Secret stuff), oral meds, and a little gadget supposed to stunt the glands with electrical pulses. No luck. I’ve read that surgical removal of the sweat glands is pretty effective and relatively safe. I also like that it’s permanant, unlike Botox. Has anyone tried this? Did it work? Was the recovery difficult? How much did it cost? Please help, I’m getting married and don’t want to ruin my dress!
I have recently started a waitressing job and sweat much more there than I do working out. Any suggestion on controlling it would be great.
My daughter has a Danskin leotard that is mainly nylon but also a little lycra or spandex. How can I get the perspiration odor out of the armpit area? Laundry instructions state that it can be washed but needs to line dry. I have tried hand washing and rinsing with vinegar in the rinse water. I’ve also sprayed with Febreze but nothing seems to get rid of the odor. Help!
I have always sweat a little more than i needed to, but recently I have been sweating profusely. I take about ten hours of dance a week and at dance i have been sweating more than anyone. After just warm up i’m drenched. And whats even worse is that other people have been noticing it too. Any tips?
I use deodorant and have tried different kinds, but it seems like eventually they sweat anyway. Any ideas on to prevent this?
Do anyone know a good way to control excessive perspiration? I have been sweating a lot under my arms since middle school and tried using different types of deodorant but nothing seems to help. Has anyone else experienced this or is experiencing this?
I use Secret Clinical Strength, but for me, it seems like it makes me sweat even more.
Are there any types of things I can use from home to get this under control?
And if I go to a doctor, what are the things they usually prescribe for this?
how can you prevent this?
