I always sweat on my armpits…
If it’s 10 degrees out or 80, i always sweat.

I’ve been having this problem for 3 years, and it isn’t going away. I’ve used so many different deodorants and nothing is working…

How do i stop this? It’s embarrassing. I wear my coat all day at school because I’m so embarrassed.
i use anti persperant deoderants…

i have hyperhidrosis and i need a cure. im thinking of surgery but i don’t know how much it cost can you tell me please.

pleaseeeeeee its reallllly realllly bad

and i shower every day :(

Besides the obvious things like staying in a cool environment, etc… What are some natural ways to help excessive sweating?

A couple of factors that I am aware of: 1) My Mother has the same condition so it’s probably genetic. 2) Some of the medication I take makes the problems worse, but I cannot stop or change the medication (it took me 3 years to iron out the balance of meds).

I don’t believe it’s "hyperhidrosis" because my sweating is generalized, but it seems to be worse on my face, hands, armpits, and chest.

I literally am soaking wet after 5 minutes of being outside on a warm day, even if I’m not doing much. I also sweat a lot when I sleep. I use a fan at night and only sleep with a sheet (I’m just not comfortable unless something is covering me.

I need to be able to control this "naturally" since I cannot change my medications, and I can not the fact that I have to be outside since I am a photographer (amature, but it’s a source of income and I love it).

The major areas affected by hyperhidrosis are head, hands and under the arms. Sometimes, it may cause sweating to the whole body. Though, medications in form of antiperspirant sprays and creams are available, they are not 100% effective to curb or eliminate sweating problem. For complete eradication of the problem you need to understand the root cause and take precautions accordingly.

Factors that lead to excessive head sweating
Thyroid disorder, according to the medical fraternity is one of the major reasons of excessive sweating. Over-secretion of hormones from thyroid gland can cause several problems to the different body organs. The condition is called hypothyroidism and people suffering from it are victims of sluggishness, skin dehydration, sparse hair growth, and excessive sweating. Other symptoms are weight gain, increase of heart beat, excessive feeling of warmth, trembling hands and bulging eyes. Genetic disorders might lead to a lot of head sweating. Side effects of some drugs also cause such a situation. Smoking, consuming spicy food, coffee, and stress can lead to sweating.

How to get rid of excessive sweating
Before going for any sort of medication, compare the symptoms faced by you with the above ones. Once you are sure that you are witnessing one or multiple symptoms of excessive sweating, it is the high time to go for proper medication. The process of medication varies from person to person. Depending upon the cause your medication for head sweating is prescribed.

A diagnosis is done to determine whether you are suffering from over secretion or under secretion of thyroid gland. Depending upon the diagnosis, medication is prescribed to slowdown or speed up thyroid secretion. These treatments in many cases are short term in nature. For long term results, the physician might go for eradicating the disorder by use of radioactive rays or complete elimination of thyroid tissues.

Remember, never put-off consulting your doctor while having symptoms of a greater than or below active thyroid gland, together with excessive head sweating. The physician will analyze and evaluate your condition. He will check your blood pressure and possible disorders in the pituitary gland. It is the pituitary gland that controls the activities of thyroid gland. While consulting the doctors make sure to inform him regarding your case history. After proper analysis of all the conditions, proper medication can safely be recommended for excessive head sweating.

Hyperhidrosis, more commonly known as excessive sweating is a problem that many people are faced with, on a day to day basis. People who experience heavy sweating can see an aggravation of their problem when exposed to very warm environment or fever. Usually sweating is experienced on the surface of skin on various body parts like feet soles, armpits, palms, etc. Let’s examine the causes and remedy of sweat.

Major cause of sweating:

Actually, there are no specific reasons for sweating to occur, and though medical science has made a lot of progress over the past few decades but there are still some gaps that need to be filled. Excessive sweating is one of these gaps and there still remains a lot to be known about its causes; but for sure, we do know that there are many various kinds of disorders that may cause excessive sweating.

Anxiety is one of the prime reasons that lead to excess amount of sweating. When a person is suffering from anxiety, his typical reaction would be to withdraw from social life and this would only leads to worsening of the problem. Depression is another psychological disorder which is followed by anxiety which can further deteriorate the condition of the patient severely.

Hormonal disorders are also another cause for problems related to sweating. This may include disorders such as hyperthyroidism, problems with pituitary gland and low blood sugar level. The main symptoms include wrinkling of the affected body part, cracking and discoloration. In many cases, the affected area develops inflammation and becomes red in color. One of the most common side-effect of sweat is the bad odor that it emits due to the breakdown of sweat due to bacteria.

How to treat excessive sweating:

Sweating problems such as inflammation, diabetes and caffeine can be well handled with the aid of the drugs such as antiperspirants, aspirins and antidepressants. Application of feasible electric current, vaccinations, drugs and solutions is also used to treat sweating problems.

Intense cases can be treated with surgery and followed by Drysolxerac AC which needs to be applied at the night. The portion of the body that has sweating must be cleaned first before applying the solution. If you find the solution less affective, then a plastic film can be applied to increase the effectiveness of the solution. When you wake up in the morning make sure you remove the film carefully and rinse the area thoroughly. Many people may experience irritation from the solution, in those cases, it is better off with the film.

How to get rid of bad odor:

The people who have the problems with bad odor due to increased sweating must do cleansing twice a day with water, antiseptic liquid and soaps. The anti-bacterial creams can also be used and this would reduce the level of bacteria and yeast. The shaving of armpits and sterilizations of the clothes would also aid in improving the odor.

I am slightly overweight so weight is not a big issue. I have never had this problem before. It is ruining all of my shirts and undershirts and makes me not even want to go out in public beacuse of my dang pit stains. Please help!!

I wear anit-persperant yet I still sweat a ton. I dont smell bad at all either. Just sweat.

Recently, I perspire profusely when the environment is comfortable and I’m not physically active or emotionally upset. This is not constant, but I have to sit in front of a fan (moving air) to cool off.
