I bath every day, use deodorant with anti-perspirant, perfumes, sprays, and the like. Even when I am not perspiring, I have fairly a fairly offensive odor coming from my armpits. You can ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you that I super clean germ-a-phob. Someone, please help!!
I’m a teacher and I don’t know what to do to stop sweat in my armpits specially in hot season because feeling my undershirt wet it’s so umcomfortable… I’ve already tryed using antiperspirant but it doesn’t work! Is there something I can do?!
Some people suffer so much from the problem of sweaty hands that even before shaking hands with another person or doing a high five, they are self conscious. Hence they are held back in social interactions by their wet, sweaty and slimy hands. Ironically this problem can be easily solved by some natural remedies, but people are generally unaware of them.
So when we overcome this problem by following these natural therapies, then our life is completely changed. Though it may seem an overstatement but that’s what I learnt from my personal experience.
Sweaty palms are an embarrassment and it is easy to understand the problems of the sufferers. It makes a heavy dent on the self esteem of the persons suffering from this problem and they are willing to do anything for a treatment that will keep their hands dry without a hint of perspiration.
If you are one of the persons wondering how to stop hands from sweating, there’s some good news. If you are wondering how to stop hands from sweating then you might be surprised to know that there are plenty of effective natural treatments available for treating this problem. Here in this article we will look at three of the most effective ones.
Sage Tea. Sage Tea has high level of Tannic Acid that acts as a natural astringent. Fill a big bowl with water and add 4 or 5 tea bags preferably sage tea. Then soak your hands in it for about 20 minutes at a time. Do this for a few days and you’ll condition your skin not to sweat. This is the most effective method, hence if you are thinking how to stop your hands from sweating then give this method the first shot.
As a side effect of this treatment, the skin may get a little bit tanned. But don’t worry, just wash with a little soap and water and it will easily go.
Baking Soda and Water. It is one of the simplest and easiest remedy available. In this treatment, baking soda is mixed in water until the mixture appears like a cloudy mix. Make sure that the bowl in which you make this mixture is large enough for you to dip your palms completely in it. Now, soak your hands in the solution for 15-20 minutes. Try this treatment for a few days continously and you’ll notice major improvements.
This treatment works because baking soda is chemically alkaline in nature. On the other hand, sweat produced by your hands is chemicalkly an acid. When the sweat on your hands mixes with the baking soda, it gets gassified and evaporates right away. Hence after trying out this treatment for a few days, you will never experience even the slightest amount of perspiration on you r hands.
Drysol. It is a powerful, antiperspirant and is a great solution of the sweaty palm problem. However, it is highly recommended to consult a dermatologist before using Drysol. After buying it, first of all, read its instructions completely. Drysol is an exceptionally powerful topical deodorant and should be applied just one time, usually at night. It should be applied on palms and allowed to dry.
Drysol must be used with caution as it is a very strong drug. If used for days on end, some stinging sensation or irritation might be experiened. Under such circumstances, use it less frequently i.e. apply it once every, two or more days.
I’ve tried loads of anti-perspirants but nothing seems to significantly help. Also, does being involved in sports impact the amount of perspiration???
I was fine all day at work and at home very late I had that feeling in my stomach I was going to have loose bowel, which I did. I then had sweat dripping from my forehead and face, and I almost felt like vomitting but didn’t.
Other than sitting in a freezer or moving to Alaska.
I’m sweating excessively so I’m pretty sure I have axillary hyperhidrosis. I’ve already had my thyroids checked and the results were normal.
Someone who knows a lot about situations like mine…
this is a woman asking this, when ever i’m at my job which does require some manual labor, i usually sweat alot, not only in the armpit area, but the back and head, etc. It can get pretty embarassing at times cuz i am soaked in sweat. any remedies for excessive sweating? or what can a doctor do about this?
Every day when I go to school it doesn’t take long for my arm pits to soak my shirt. It’s really gross and I hate the feeling. I get really embarrassed and end up having to go the entire rest of the day with my arms glued to my side. It doesn’t smell bad or anything, it is just totally unappealing and I’m just too concentrated on my sweating and being scared people will see, to concentrate on anything else. What can I do?????
I have a problem where I sweat way to much! I really want to tell my mom so that I can get a special anti persperant but i’m to embarassed (weird i know). I want to buy a anti persperant called Certain Dri, but I’m scared she will ask questions if we go to the store for it because it says stops excessive sweating on the front label. Can someone please tell me how to approach my mom (and if you can can you please reccomend an anti persperant). Thankyou everyone that responds to this!
I use Secret Platinum Invisible Solid Asian Pear and it doesn’t really work because there is still lots of perspiration. I guess it works for the odor.
