My armpits sweat a lot, even when im not warm. its really annoying, and it kind of makes me have B.O sometimes, How do i get it to stop?
I’ve tried every deodorant on the market…and none seem to do the trick, not even the "clinical strength waterproof".
I sweat a lot (not smelly, just wet) and it has dictated my wardrobe as I can’t wear colors because of it - unless it’s a loose fit.
How do you deal with this - have you found any solutions? I’ve heard prescription deodorants just stain your clothing…I’ve heard botox works but is it worth the cost?
I am a marathon runner and eat very well, so this isn’t an issue of being unhealthy.
Hi, i am say bot 5 weeks pregnant now today over a domestic (inlwas)argument i had to raise my voice and speak out after which i had profuse sweating from my head and back however was calmed soon would this affect my baby now please answer am really worried and tensed would it affect my baby in any way please help
Most sandals or shoes that are meant to be worn without socks have insoles that don’t absorb moisture - not to mention, these materials aren’t very comfortable. I can’t wear most of the sandals or thongs I see due to hyperhidrosis. I’ve seen very few open-toed shoes that have cloth or fabric insoles. Can anyone recommend a line of shoes (or specific pairs) that have absorbent/fabric/cloth/suede insoles?
after skating or playing a sport for 10 minutes, I start sweating like crazy. In fact, I look like a human waterfall. It’s so embarrassing. Is this because that I have a lot of fats in my body or something? I’m average for a 14 year old, but I do tend to snack and eat BK from time to time
I’ve had problems with it for awhile and i’ve tried so many deo’s and stuff too. I was like a major salt aholic though and im not sure if thats what does it or what cuz now its not as bad but its still goin on!grrrr!lol but i dont have a hormonal inbalance and i just got taken off of the birth control and stuff so idk but if you have some suggestions that would be great!
I was dancing and worked up a sweat. The perspiration from my forehead got in my eyes, and it felt like acid was burning me. Why are my eyes so sensitive to my own perspiration?
Is there a doctor in the house?
If you are suffering from the crisis of excessive armpit sweating, then this article has some very effective methods of treating this problem. Like you, I have suffered from this problem. And here was a time when I tried, in vain, to wear two undershirts stacked under my dress shirts to escape the humiliation of sweat stains. However all that is behind me now. Gladly I wish to inform you that I overcame this problem by trying out various treatments. So if you read this article and follow the treatments, like me, you can also get freedom from this embarrassing problem of armpit sweating.
If your armpit sweating problem is very bad like mine, and if you want to stop armpit sweat, then you must have started taking reactive measures to hide your problem, instead of attacking at the root cause of the problem. Let me clarify this point a little more.
What do you do when you feel the sweat coming on you? Don’t you rush to the nearest bathroom and use tissue to pat dry your armpits and apply deodorant. Have you started wearing heavy clothes with multiple layers in order to hide your pit stains? Or you soak up the sweat using garment pads?
What you need instead is to take a more proactive approach. This helps you to know how to condition your skin so that it sweats lesser, instead of devising new strategies of hiding the sweat. In its place you must try these long term cures consistently which work over a period of time to completely solve this problem. Now, let’s look at some treatments to stop armpit sweat.
Apple Vinegar remedy - Apply apple vinegar to your armpits at night. Make sure that you have trimmed your armpit hair. Then allow the applied apple vinegar to air dry. Apple vinegar treatment works by saturating the sweat pores present in your armpits. It also neutralizes odour causing bacteria and provides a drying effect.
Apple vinegar causes the armpits to produce less sweat due to its astringent properties. After applying apple vinegar in the night, when you wake up in the morning, simply wash your armpits with soap and water. The acids present in the vinegar are absorbed by the skin during night and reduces your sweating throughout the day.
Baking Soda treatment - Baking soda is chemically an alkaline product. On the other hand the sweat produced by our body is an acid product. So when these two mix up, they create a gas and get evaporated extremely fast. This treatment is particularly effective to stop armpit sweat when used along with a deodorant that has a high quantity of aluminium chloride.
Here’s how it works. You mix baking soda and water to make a thick paste. Then you apply it on your armpits (preferably clean shaven) and leave it for about 25 minutes. In the end just wash it off.
Following the above treatment and you will notice huge improvements. Though as a side effect, you might feel your armpits a little rubbery but these are definitely better than the sweat dripping slimy pits, they were before.
Botox injection - Botox injections are the best way to stop armpit sweat, though they have a high price tag and their effect last for some time only, typically about 6 months.
If the high cost of treatment which is about $700 - $1400 doesn’t deter you, then this is the best treatment which gives instant results.
