Sweating is really embarassing because when you sweat and you ar walking around people stare a laugh, so I know how that is. I went to my docotr and she prescribed a liquid called Drysol that drys out your sweat glands. It can be uncomfortable when you first use it but it works. The other option you have is Botoxshots to freeze your sweat glands, those work too but are expensive. As for the question at hand, your mom is going to understand if you just go to her and say, mom I'm embarassed because I sweat a lot and it's affecting me. Do you think we can go buy CertainDri to help? The worse she'll say is no, and then you can ask your doctor at your next check-up. Or ask a sibling or a friends sibling, or someone you are really comfortable with. But I promise your mom will be okay with it.

excessive sweating is actually a medical condition. Look it up under WebMd.com There are some shots or some medicines you can take for this condition. See a doctor if it is affecting your everyday life. good luck.

You shouldn't be embarrassed! Your Mom can probably really help. If you really don't want her help just try a couple of different antiperspirants. Good luck!!!

This problem may be inherited, so your mom or dad may have had the same thing as a teen. Talk to her. Why wouldn't she understand?

excessive sweating is caused by a condition called hyperhidrosis. i know because i have it in my palms, which really sucks in a lot of aspects of life, especially holding hands. so, i know what you're probably going through right now since i have it too. i'm a high school student and i was at the dermatologist with my mom for a checkup for something else, and i just mentioned it to the dermatologist right then and there without telling my mom before cus i didnt want to be embarassed about it before. i had researched it a little so i just asked him if he could prescribe something for hyperhidrosis, and he didnt even ask any questions, he was just like "sure" and he prescribed this thing called "drisol" which really helps but it unfortunately dries out your skin. there are a lot of different types of medicine for this condition, and if you did a google search for hyperhidrosis you could probably find a lot of things that could help you.

i'm sorry i can't help with telling your mom, because i basically avoided it and told the doctor though my mom happened to be in the room
