I have always had a problem with this, and the only deoderant that I have found that works effectively is Secret Platinum. It is a soft cream that somes out through slits, and it even works on really hot, humid days.

As for whether being involved in sports would affect your perspiration, I would imagine that it would, seeing as your body is functioning at such a high rate. I know that being physically active affects your metabolism, even when you are sitting still, so I don't see why it wouldn't affect other aspects of your life as well.

Try secret clinical strength, it's the strength of prescription antiperspirants, but if your looking to not sweat during sports and stuff, don't, lol. Your supposed sweat during sports, you need to, so during sports don't worry about it, unless it's like really excessive.

How about applying baby powder? It will keep you dry for at least a while.
And yes, being an athlete DOES make you sweat more because your elevating your body temperature, so you of course perspire.
Also, you can try to get a prescription for a full-strength deodorant which only contains aluminum (which is the active ingredient in most deodorants/anti-perspirants).

i tried this amazing product!

I have a reallllllly bad perspiration problem and SECRET CLINICAL STRENGTH worked wonders on me. I even went to the dermitologist and what they perscribed didn't work!

it's over the counter...but a little expensive (all though it does last a while and you can find coupons in your newspaper)

hope this helps =]
