I have suffered from hyperhidrosis since the age of 12. I used aluminum chloride for 4 years and it worked well, until one day it just quit. Since then I have tried oral medication, other types of antipersperints, and botox 3 times. Nothing seems to help. Surgery is not an option for me. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas in helping me with this daily struggle of hiding my sweat marks. Thanks.

I have problems with profuse constant sweating where it drips all down my face, wets my hair, and dampens my shirt. I even live on the east coast where it’s not to hot.On summer days I want to hide in a air conditioned box all day. On winter days I also continue to sweat. My weight is completely normal for my height,I take no medication, and have no other medical problems. Besides just feeling gross, the worst thing about this is that I’m in my 20’s and it is incredibly embarrassing to go on a date with a girl. I have to constantly wipe my face off with a paper towel (I have to actually stuff my pockets with as much paper towel as I can fit whenever I go out.) Definitely not very attractive. It has nothing to do with nervousness since I am completely comfortable and get this problem whether on a date or just sitting at my PC.My father has the same issue and uses towels every day.Its awful going out with friends and being the only one totally soaked in sweat. Any way to reduce it? help :(

Just recently been diagnosed with gallbladder infection with inflammation as well as confirming I have stones. I was also experiencing profuse sweating all over my body. Can the infection cause the sweating? I’m on medication right now and the profuse sweating has stopped.

Besides the obvious things like staying in a cool environment, etc… What are some natural ways to help excessive sweating?

A couple of factors that I am aware of: 1) My Mother has the same condition so it’s probably genetic. 2) Some of the medication I take makes the problems worse, but I cannot stop or change the medication (it took me 3 years to iron out the balance of meds).

I don’t believe it’s "hyperhidrosis" because my sweating is generalized, but it seems to be worse on my face, hands, armpits, and chest.

I literally am soaking wet after 5 minutes of being outside on a warm day, even if I’m not doing much. I also sweat a lot when I sleep. I use a fan at night and only sleep with a sheet (I’m just not comfortable unless something is covering me.

I need to be able to control this "naturally" since I cannot change my medications, and I can not the fact that I have to be outside since I am a photographer (amature, but it’s a source of income and I love it).

I am a woman and I really do perspire excessively in my armpits to the point where I plan my clothing to hide perspiration. It is embarassing! It diminished considerably when I was on acne medication (Acutane) for 6 months. I am tall and thin and measure 5ft 9" and weigh 130lb. Could it be hyperactive thyroid? It is worse on certain days of my cycle when there are big changes in hormones levels.

Its embarassing but I dont know how to deal with these but my feet are always wet, even if the place is cold or hot. I cant wear close shoes ‘coz it would smell bad after taking off my shoes. Any suggestion please or any medication you know. I always keep myself but I cant control to get a dirty feet if its wet. I have tried a lot of foot powder, cream & spary..nothing works…
i mean , i always keep myself clean
