I believe it is a mixture of sweat and hair spray. I sweat constantly. I have wrecked 3 blouses that I wear to the office as I sweat in the office all day. My work area is 80 degrees.
I wear mostly cotton or cotton blends. My skin reacts to rayon and polyster fabrics.
A lot of my t-shirts have a VERY strong sweat smell in the armpits, even after washing. I have an HE (high-efficiency] washer, which can’t use powder I don’t think. I can only use liquid detergent. I’ve tried spray-on stain remover, vinegar, but nothing works. Anyone know?
any other kind of deodorant i should use so i don’t sweat that much under my armpits. I’m 20yrs male
My work shirts are constantly washed yet I’m still convinced I can smell the sweat in the armpits of the shirts. How can I remove the stench for good?
Oh sorry. I guess I should tell you the shirts are all red.
I have suffered from hyperhidrosis since the age of 12. I used aluminum chloride for 4 years and it worked well, until one day it just quit. Since then I have tried oral medication, other types of antipersperints, and botox 3 times. Nothing seems to help. Surgery is not an option for me. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas in helping me with this daily struggle of hiding my sweat marks. Thanks.
I’m 15, and male. I don’t smell, it’s just a lot of sweat from my armpits. It’s almost un natural I begin to sweat even when it’s not warm and i just end up with massive patches under my pits. This stops me from buying/wearing clothes I would like to. Anyone got any tips on how to stop this?
I will be wearing a suit and tie, and I don’t want sweat soaking through shirt and suit jacket. I’ve tried every antiperspirant and none seems to hold sweat off for more than 5 minutes. Any suggestions as to what I should apply to my armpits?
I was dancing and worked up a sweat. The perspiration from my forehead got in my eyes, and it felt like acid was burning me. Why are my eyes so sensitive to my own perspiration?
Is there a doctor in the house?
just wondering because we have a science question ;
Over two million bacteria are found per square centimeter of skin under the armpits. Why don’t they cause disease more often?
and i was wondering if maybe sweat kills the bacteria?
I’m a teacher and I don’t know what to do to stop sweat in my armpits specially in hot season because feeling my undershirt wet it’s so umcomfortable… I’ve already tryed using antiperspirant but it doesn’t work! Is there something I can do?!
I was fine all day at work and at home very late I had that feeling in my stomach I was going to have loose bowel, which I did. I then had sweat dripping from my forehead and face, and I almost felt like vomitting but didn’t.
is it true ull more likely sweat more if ur dehydrated?
I have sweated alot HOWEVER during these last three workouts on the treadmill eliptical I have burst into buckets of sweat within the first 3 or 4 minutes of movement.
I have been working out regularly (3-5 times a week) and sweating regularly for the last 2 and 1/2 weeks. Does this huge increase in perspiration signify something new is actually going with my body? - Like that I may actually start losing weight or is nothing.
But
The past few days, my sweat has this strong sour smell to it - not a ‘gross’ dirty or urine smell, but like sour and strong. Usually I can’t smell my own perspiration but it’s so strong that I can and am wondering what it could be from.
I have recently started a waitressing job and sweat much more there than I do working out. Any suggestion on controlling it would be great.
My right armpit doesnt sweat while the left one will be soaked. I also have very sweaty palms if that has anything to do with it
I’ve been sweating profusely in the last couple months. It is pretty humid here, but this is out of control and embarrassing. I need to be doing more cardio, but I was wondering if burning some energy and sweat in this way might relieve some of the daytime sweating at work and walking around.
What do you think?
I have a big trouble with my armpits sweating and making these huge sweat marks in my armpits. extremely embarressing. if anyone has any idea how to stop my armpits from sweating if the deodorant doesn’t work. PLEASE.
