It sounds like you suffer from what I have as well. It is called hyperhidrosis, and I’ve had it for as long as I can remember. It is excessive sweating of either the armpits, face/scalp, or hands and feet. A friend of mine had it profusely on her hands and feet, but had the surgery done to cut the sympathetic nerve and has been sweat free on her hands. Evidently there is a "hot needle" they can do in your back to alleviate the sweating for the feet. She did that too, with success.
However, for us who suffer facial sweating the surgery isn’t as successful.
I was put on Robinul over a month ago and it worked to a point. I didnt have sweat dripping off my face, but I did perspire a bit. It was much better! You could find a dermatologist who specializes in hyperhidrosis in your area and see what they recommend. They start first with strong deoderants…but it is ridiculous putting it on your face!! Then they move on to oral pills (Robinul). Then Botox…which is my next step. I had to get off of Robinul just two days ago because my BP went very high. We really don’t know if it is related to Robinul, but keeping in mind I had a baby just six months ago my hormones are crazy.
Anyway…the Botox injections are the same they use for the starts on the red carpet. Ha! Expensive, but if you have surgery and have tried everything else, they will pay for it.
I hope this helps. I feel your pain. I can’t stand this anymore!
If you are a girl , face powder. A guy ? just use a handkerchief.
Carry a towel with you…
put deordorent on your face
you can’t. that’s like asking how to control any natural thing our bodies do.
roll degree all over your face, or wear a turban
(try mitchum for profuse perspiration)
hmmm…stay cool and keep cold water on hand
