Why do I sweat so much from my armpits?
I’m 15, and male. I don’t smell, it’s just a lot of sweat from my armpits. It’s almost un natural I begin to sweat even when it’s not warm and i just end up with massive patches under my pits. This stops me from buying/wearing clothes I would like to. Anyone got any tips on how to stop this?
That is good healthy sign only. That way the body will maintain its temperature.Have two or three times bath, wash armpits only. Shave off the hair and keep clean. Use armpit rollers/deodorants.
Try changing deoderants, and try wearing clothing fabrics like cotton, which make you sweat less.
its natural.
in prehistoric times, men attracted women with their scent
You can use roll-on antipersperent
that would work
Well…there is actually a term for this people who sweat excessively under the arm pits. I would see a doctor first to obtain opinions from doctors. However, many plastic surgeons actually give botox injections in the armpits to stop the excessive sweating. Because like I said many people have this issue I just forget the term for it. I also don’t know if the botox injections are permanant for treating excessive sweating or if the botox wears off after a few months and you just have to keep maintanance on the issue with botox. Either way, seek a doctor and find out about the botox. I think it is quite effective.
On the other hand, your age could have something to do with it in that you’re developing in many ways. But this is why I would see a doctor before drawing conclusions or being worried about it all the time. Just see a doctor hun; it will bring you comfort in knowing why that could be happening if it’s that bad as you described.
U might not wanna do this, but a lotta guys shave their pits if they sweat a lot. Hair keeps the sweat from evaporating as quick so no hair would be helpful.
Most swimmers shave their pits so don’t worry about it bein a non manly thing or any nonsense like that.
deodorants and different fabrics.
I went through the same thing you are when I was younger. You just have overactive sweat glands. I went to a dermatologist and he told me to buy an anti-perspirant called Certain-Dri. If you follow directions exactly, it works awesome! You can’t buy this in regular stores like Wal-Mart, you have to go to a pharmacy and see if they can order it for you. It’s not too expensive and it last a long time.
To add on to Lux’s response for botox, i dont think you should because sweating is a natural way of eliminating waste. Using botox will cause the lymph nodes to stop working completely and botox has been known to spread away from the desired area. So the botox may migrate to other areas such as your lungs which is really close to your arm pits. Go see a doctor.
